Live editing
Editing that begins during the production session rather than after it. Footage is organised, multi-camera angles are switched and clips are assembled while the shoot is still running, which shortens the gap between filming and publishing from weeks to hours.
Cyclorama (cyc wall)
A curved seamless wall where the floor and the wall meet in a cove rather than a corner, so the background has no visible horizon line. It produces a continuous white field behind the subject and is used for full-body photography, fashion, product work and clean video backgrounds.
Green screen (chroma key)
An evenly lit green backdrop that editing software can isolate and replace, letting a subject filmed in a studio appear in any digital environment. Even lighting and separation between subject and screen are what make the key clean enough to hold up at full resolution.
Content day
A single booked production day that moves across several stages to produce video, photography and short-form social assets in one session, rather than booking a separate shoot for each format.
Turnkey production
A booking that includes the room, the equipment and the crew, so the client leaves with finished content rather than raw footage and a list of people still to hire.
Live switching
Cutting between multiple cameras as the recording happens, so a finished multi-camera edit exists the moment the session ends. Individual camera files are still recorded separately, so the cut can be changed later.
